I have never lived in an international community so concentrated in terms of interest. A huge number of driven people from all over the world come to Koh Phangan. Entrepreneurs, investors, musicians, athletes, crypto experts, former bankers, restaurateurs, freelancers (where would we be without them).
People who get to the island are active, unconventional and motivated - who need the most))) Everyone else is filtered out by Samui and Phuket with their international airports, infrastructure, large hotels, etc.
“Packagers” or lazy people often feel uncomfortable here. And let it remain that way, I don’t want to turn Koh Phangan into a branch of Phuket or Hurghada.
What else is special about Phangan - it is very different, a huge number of unique features are concentrated in a small island. Everyone tells something different about the Island, that “Phangan is Mecca”:
- 🏀 Sports, fitness and a healthy lifestyle (100% true, I have never seen such a huge percentage of healthy, beautiful and athletic people. I myself lost 22 kg in a year)

- 🍜 Gastronomy - many good restaurants, new interesting places are constantly opening
- 🚀 Opportunities - experienced active people with good taste from all over the world come, stay, launch good projects
- ⛰️ The beauty and riot of nature. 70% of the island's territory is a national park. You live in a nature reserve. Sunsets tearing up the sky on the west coast, eagles flying, etc.
- ❤️ Just good people. Recently I was on a visit, I mixed up the house, people were having a feast and they didn’t let me go until they fed me)) Just like when I was a child at the dacha during the time of our grandparents

- 🔞 Party. A friend came and partyed hard. During the 2 months of his stay here, we saw each other a couple of times, once at breakfast (he was going to bed, and I just woke up) he told me, “Dim, the World Electronic Music Championship is currently taking place in Koh Phangan.”
And so from Thai boxing to kiteboarding. There are many events happening at the same time that you are not even aware of. And as new, active, cool people arrive here, the Island will have new facets that will always make it stand out.
